My Chemical Romance - Conventional Weapons : Rilis Terakhir

My Chemical Romance secara resmi telah bubar tepatnya pada tanggal 22 Maret 2013 kemarin. Band asal New Jersey yang mengusung aliran alternative rock dengan formasi Gerard Way (vokal), Ray Toro (Gitar 1), Frank Lero (Gitar 2), dan Mikey Way (bass) telah meluncurkan album terakhir mereka yang diberi judul Conventional Weapons album ini merupakan album kompilasi yang terdiri dari lagu - lagu prasesi album Danger Days dan album perpisahan.


Kilas balik sedikit tentang My Chemical Romance band yang dibentuk dari perasan galau sang vokalis Gerrad Way atas peristiwa 11 september 2011 silam akhirnya memutuskan untuk membentuk sebuah band sebagai ekspresi kegalauan tersebut. Dengan mengajak temen - temenya satu persatu Ray Toro, Mike Way dan Frank Lero akhirnya mereka merilis album perdana mereka yang diberi judul  I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me You Love yang dirilis pada tahun 2002 dengan singel andalan Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us dan Vampires Will Never Hurt You. Album ini pun cukup sukses.

Album kedua mereka Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge yang dirilis pada tahun 2004 kian mengukuhkan mereka sebagai band rock papan atas album ini lebih sukses dari album sebelumnya. Hits andalan seperti Helena, I'm Not Okay (I Promise), The Ghost of You, dan Thank You For The Venom berhasil menciptakan fanbase yang cukup besar. Kemudian di tahun berikutnya mereka meilis album The Black Parade 2006, dan  Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys tahun 2010.

Setiap seri album Conventional Weapon berisikan dua lagu number one  : Boy Divison, Tommorrow's Money. Number two : Ambulance, Gun. Number Three : The World Is Ugly, The Light Behind Your Eyes. Number four : Kiss the Ring, Make Room. Number five : Surrender the Night, Burn Bright.
